Since its inception 18 years ago The Two Rivers Antiques and Art Show and Garden Tour has raised close to three million dollars for the Jacqueline M. Wilentz Comprehensive Breast Center at Monmouth Medical Center. The progress of the Breast Center would not be possible without fundraising and private donations.

This distinct event will be held at The Ranney School from September 28th-30th. The weekend events will include a “Preview Party” Friday, September 28th with the show opening to the public on Saturday and Sunday, drawing well over 1,000 attendees.

Proceeds from this year’s event are dedicated to the purchase of the 3-D Tomosynthesis Mammography Scanner which is the latest breast imaging technology, approved by the FDA in 2011. Tomosynthesis generates highly focused, three dimensional x-ray pictures of the breast, from many angles, providing our Breast Center radiologists more accurate visualization of dense breast tissue and patients a more comfortable screening experience. The addition of digital Tomosythesis equipment positions the Jacqueline Wilentz Comprehensive Breast Center as the first in Monmouth and Ocean Counties to offer this vital and revolutionary diagnostic tool.
